Home is the thing that stays simple when everything else gets complicated.
The Bay Area raised her. The foggy mornings, the eclectic energy, the particular way that a place can feel simultaneously enormous and deeply intimate once it belongs to you. The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most photographed structures in the world and yet if you have ever stood at the edge of it on a quiet morning, you know that all that scale dissolves into something surprisingly personal. Something that just feels like yours.
Golden Gate Bridge is not a painting of the bridge. It is a painting of that feeling.
Crimson floods the canvas with the warmth of a place that knows you. A deep cobalt blue sweeps through the center with the movement and confidence of bay water, fluid and inevitable. Where they meet, something luminous happens: lavender, white, gold pooling at the base like sunlight hitting the water at exactly the right angle. Red drips from a suspended dark form above, like something releasing, something finally letting go. The surface has the tactile density of a place that has accumulated years of weather and memory and human life and still stands, still holds.
